When is the RSVP deadline?
Please kindly let us know if you will attend by June 1st.
Where am I staying?
Overnight lodging is included for all wedding guests at Ogontz Resort. Accomodations range from cozy cottages to open-air Adirondack cabins with shared bathhouses. If you have any special needs, please let us know on your RSVP.
What should I wear?
Cocktail attire for the ceremony and reception on Saturday. Dresses, jumpsuits, suits, whatever makes you feel great. The ceremony is outdoors, so wear shoes you can walk in. Friday is dressy casual for the welcome dinner.
What should I bring?
Comfortable shoes for walking around, layers for cool mountain evenings, a swimsuit and towel for the lake, and your dancing shoes for Saturday night. Bug spray, sunscreen, and activities are available at camp center.
What is the weather like?
August in the White Mountains is warm during the day, usually 76–80°F, and cools down to the mid-50s at night. Storms can roll through occasionally, so keep in mind while packing. In the event of rain on Saturday, the ceremory will be held indoors.
What is there to do at Ogontz?
The resort is on a private lake, so there’s fishing, paddle boarding, canoeing, and swimming. Courts for pickleball, tennis, basketball, and volleyball. Hiking trails around the lake and beautiful waterfalls nearby.
Is the venue accessible?
Ogontz Resort is nestled inside hundreds of acres of nature. We'll have golf carts available for those who need and accessible cabins are available, just let us know on your RSVP or reach out to us directly. We want everyone to be comfortable!
What will we be eating?
Ogontz is known for their food (and their bakery). There will be vegetarian options at every meal. Let us know about any allergies or dietary needs in your RSVP and we’ll take care of it.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
There’s a section on the RSVP for that. Let us know what you need and we’ll take care of it.
Are children welcome?
Yes! There’s a lake, open fields, and plenty of room to run around. Let us know on your RSVP so we can plan for them.
Do you have a gift registry?
